Yang-Yang is a badminton brand people rarely heard of. However, many people have heard of Yang-Yang, the legendary left-handed badminton player from China who hold the record for winning two badminton World Championship titles. Yang-Yang and his compatriot, Zhao Jian Hua - another badminton wolrd champion player, started a new line of badminton equipment with the brand Yang-Yang. This brand has been selling very well in Malaysia for couple of years. Now, we bring this brand to the United States for badminton players to experience quality racquets at low price.

Most of Yang-Yang racquets that are distributed by us have gone through a series selection process to find the right characterisitcs for the market in the United States. We only choose approximately 10 models out of 30+ that we believe fit our market.

The Tactic 9000 model is used by Zhao Jian Hua to win the World Master Game in 1998. Zhao Jian Hua strung the racquet using Ashaway Micro Legend at approximatley 30 lbs. You can hear the cracking sound from the string when he fixed the string mesh on his racquet during the game.

First Impression:
We tested the Tactic 9000 with Yonex BG-85 at 22 lbs.The first thing that we notice is that the racquet is well balanced and very easy to adjust to. It is not very heavy or it's too light. It's the perfect weight for all-around player who wants both offense and defense characteristic in a racquet.

Good:
Excellent balance and very easy to adjust to. It only takes a couple of minutes to adjust to the racquet behavior. Response on both defense and offense is fast due to the light weight. Clears, drops, drives, and smashes are easy and feel natural and good. It was very easy to control the direction of the shuttlecock during fast rally.

Bad:
A little too light for some of our testers. Because of this, it does not generate enough "BANG" during smashes like other head heavy racquets.

Conclusion:
Yang-Yang Tactic 9000 is an excellent racquet for all-around players and people looking for racquet that is easy to adjust to. This racquet is an excellent racquet for beginning and intermediate players that are serious about badminton. Depending on the style of the play, this racquet is also suitable for advanced/elite players. The racquet is not for power play. It is a racquet for players looking for control, speed, and consistency in their strokes. It is also our best selling racquet because we receive many positive feedback from our customers. We give this racquet 4 out of 5 © rating and our Badminton Alley recommendation. We just loved the way it adjust to players and gives excellent controls throughout every strokes.
